Live Rosin

“Live Rosin” is a term used in cannabis terminology to describe a concentrate produced without solvents. The name “live” refers to the fact that it is made from freshly frozen plant material instead of dried flowers. 

The origin of Live Rosin

The production method typically combines ice water extraction (as in Ice Water Hash) with heat and pressure, whereby a concentrate is pressed out of the material. Because the process does not use chemical solvents, it is referred to as “solventless.” “Live Rosin” has become a popular term in cannabis culture, especially in the United States, where it is highlighted as an artisanal method.
